To the youth of the Philippines and to the parents who guide them, I want to talk to you about something that could change your life and make a real impact on our community—becoming a lawyer.

I’m not just speaking as a lawyer who’s had the privilege of practicing for many years. I’m speaking as someone who’s seen firsthand how important it is to have people in the legal profession who are deeply committed to serving our kababayan. If you’re considering what path to take in life, I want to tell you why law might just be one of the most meaningful and fulfilling careers you can choose, not just for yourself but for your community.

We all know that the Philippines is a country of contrasts. On one hand, we have so much potential—the beauty of our culture, our resilience, and the strength of our people.
